What did you have for dinner?

I cooked baked chicken wrapped in bacon, fresh garden peas, corn bread, and dressing.  Sure was good and our first meal in the new HOME!  We sat at the table together too.  Something we had forgotten about.  Sure did seem nice!!

Only thing missing was Torey.   It is hard to let them grow up, but I know it has to happen.  I'm so proud of him though!!  What a great young man I have!  I MISS HIM!

Well...you know Randall ... I never claim to be a real smart woman.  I stirred fried onions, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage and brocolli.  Then I cooked whole wheat pasta.  I ate a few bites and that was all she wrote....I've been sick since then.  I know I cannot eat pasta.  I just keep on.  The veggies were really good though...just didn't stay down.  One of these days, I am gonna learn.

An English Muffin with Sugar Free Grape Jam...and a Diet Coke!

By the way--your chicken reminded me...I was in Cracker Barrel with a friend last weekend and she ordered from the Low Carb Menu--It was grilled chicken strips with Bacon and melted colby cheese. She said it was really good and it looked wonderful. I know what I will be having on my next trip to Cracker Barrel!

I usually marinate it in red wine vinegar before baking it with bacon, then top it with mushrooms and mozzerella cheese after it is done.  Talk about good!!

Cracker Barrell's sounds good too.
