I just talked to Randy and they have finally left Luverne.  He said all day people were so rude to them coming by and shaming them for leaving Luverne.  He also said when he got to the city limits he pulled the truck over and shook the dirt off his shoes so he has cleaned himself of that town.

They are looking forward to finally being in a home that is theirs without any past strings attached.  He said God had him in Luverne for a season but now that season has passed and God wants him somewhere else.

Another thing they are looking forward to is setting up the house the way they want it.  He said he and Lucy will spend the time doing it the way they decide whether it takes a week, month, or year.  They are moving next door to Brenda and me and I don't think he wants any help from us.  We are not home right now but if we were I think I would stay on my side of the property line until they get settled.  I certainly wouldn't tell them where to put anything or what to do unless asked.

Brenda and I have been married for fifteen years and we understand what it is like to have "ours" with no past strings attached.

They have been under tremendous stress from the "strings".  They need some US time to start this new phase of their life together.  So give them some space until they get settled and the old Randy will be back soon as will Lucy.

I am extremely happy for them.  I know this was much needed and I am thrilled they are finally on their way.  These are two precious people who deserve all the happiness God has for them.  We are praying that they have a safe trip and the move is smooth and without any complications.  Thank you for posting this, Glenn.

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me".

Wow! Thanks for the update and I will definately keep Randy and Lucy in my prayers.I am glad to know they are close to you and Brenda. Although we ( you and I ) don't communicate often, I think you both are great and I am glad to know Lucy and Randall have you there if and when needed.

Note to Lucy and Randall:
I am proud of you both.  Seasons change, build the life together you both deserve.

Glenn, I totally agree with the other posts...

Well said... and I AGREE 100% to GIVE the Culpeppers time to settle in!

I also agree with Gail, seasons DO change.  If they don't change in your life, then your life is dead and lifeless and SOMETHING is wrong!
May the Culpeppers be BLESSED as they enter their new season in life.  May they find Peace that passes ALL understanding!

Give Brenda a hug for me!
