cheese and potato casserole


2 pounds Package frozen
  Hashed brown potatoes
  (partly thawed)
13 ounces Can evaporated
  Milk, undiluted
3 ounces Can French fried
  Onion rings
10 ounces Cans Cheddar
  Cheese soup
  Salt and pepper

Combine frozen potatoes, soup, milk, and half the onion rings. Pour into welI-greased CROCK-POT. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on Low 7 to 9 hours. (High: 3 hours). Sprinkle remaining onion rings over top before serving.



coffee pot roast

6 Carrots; peeled; diced
2 cup Potatoes; peeled; diced
2  pounds Pot roast; type beef
  Salt; pepper
1 cup Canned tomatoes
1 cup Black coffee
1 cup Water


Put vegetables in cooker. Add beef, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes and liquids. Cover and cook on low 8 - 10 hours or until tender.


crockpot chili sirloin




1½ pounds Sirloin steak
  (cut into cubes (yes sirloin
1 large Green pepper diced
Red pepper; diced
Jalepaneo pepper
  (remove seeds if you
  (don't like it hot)
28 oz. can of tomato sauce
  (or whole tomatoes chopped
1 tablespoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Chili powder
½ can Beer (optional)
Slices of crisp bacon


 receipe works great in a slow cooker for approx. 8 hrs.if you don't have one,cook on low for at least 2 hours. Slightly brown the steak cubes in the bacon fat, drain and then add remaining ingredients. Simmer as mentioned above. Top with shredded cheedar and raw onions.


Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.
