Key West next year.  I cannot wait!!!!!  I have always wanted to see Hemingway's home and cats.  Has anyone ever been there????  If so, give me some tips.  Thanks so much.

Hi Carmen!

I've been scuba diving there a couple of times.  The first time was right before Hurricane Andrew hit!  We enjoyed two days of fun and three days of hurricane evacuation. Not fun! Andrew seemed to enjoy following us around the state.

Then we went again and had fun.

Then my sister and I went and did the island thing.  Very fun. The Hemingway house was interesting.  The cats are the show there.  I personally enjoyed the street artists and the "Jimmy Buffett" theme everywhere.  The water was gorgeous.

A bad day in Key West trumps any good day anywhere (except maybe Disney World.)

OMG, Nanci!  We lived in Naples when Andrew hit!  That is one August day that I will never forget!  I can't imagine you trying to evacuate the state.  My husband was stubborn, as usual!!!  He said it will pass!  It did, right over  us!  LOL

Then we moved here and Opal followed us!!!!

Well, not all of them...but the ones that do are so funny looking. It looks like they're wearing miniature baseball mitts!

I had a good time, but just did not have enough time to see it all! But I think I saw most of everything I wanted to. I guess I just didn't have the time to relax, it was run run run for a week!
