I just cooked the BEST meal. I came in from work and Kyle had put on the dried blackeye peas for me.  I steamed some cabbage, made salmon patties, cornbread and made a fresh jug of splenda iced tea.  It was SOOOOOOO good.  We also had some nice home canned pepper relish for the peas.  Yummy.

So, what are ya'll doing for dinner tonight????

Boy that sure sounds good Elle!  I have had a migraine all day so I have been in bed since 10am.  I haven't even thought about cooking.  Both the kids are gone so it's just me and Tino.  It looks as if it is a toss up between Subway or a Buger here at home.  I'm leaning owards Subway!  Hope ya'll have a good night, stay warm!

Not a very healthy night here!!  I feel like a short order cook!!  Morgan and mom had chili dogs and fries.  I'll eat a hotdog later.  Frank will have  a salad and a Lean Cuisine!

We had steaks, creamed spinach and saffron risotto. Yummy!!

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.

Renee, you always cook the most interesting foods.  I would love to try some of your cooking.  I'm still craving a STEAK!  Don't know when or if I"ll ever get one. :(

Hi Loretta!!!  John and I and Geni went to Rana's.  It is a Mexican restaurant here in Lincoln and I really love their food.  I had me a taco ranchero.  (Taco with pico de guillo...I love that stuff.)  I hope you have a great evening.  I am happy to hear you and Christian are better.

Mexican is always good.  I know ya'll enjoyed getting out.  I love to go out, but it's getting further and further apart that we get to do it.  I'm not buying anything else till our cabinets are empty., with the exception of milk, bread and staples.  I cleaned out the cabinets and found things I didn't even know I had. Everything might not go together, but i'm determined to use what we have first.  We have to.

Bradley made a huge pot of vegetable beef soup and corn bread tonight.  It sure hit the spot!

Now to top it off with some Mocha coffee from Cozumel!
