Dr. DeWitt??

I am waiting on insurance approval for my RNY to be done by Andrew DeWitt.  I really like him so far.  Can anyone tell me more about him?   How was your surgery experience??

Oh, I love love love Dr. Dewitt.  He is very kind and knowledgeable.  My Mom, me and my husband all had RNY with him. I've also had several friends and cousin's use him.   My mom has had 2 hernia repairs with him, my dad had pretty serious abdoniminal surgery with him (where another doc really messed him up) and Dr. Dewitt removed my gall bladder this past year. 

If I have to have any sort of surgery I will always use Dr. Dewitt.  He's just a great doctor and his office staff are wonderful too.  When you call their office, they are super quick to get back to you.  When I had my son (almost a year ago), I always joked and said I wish Dr. Dewitt could deliver him for me.

Good Luck on getting approved, hopefully it will be a very smooth process for you.

I try to ...I go once a month or every 2 at least to see her..

Although I didn't use Dr. DeWitt I have heard wonderful things about him!  I did want to welcome you to the Alabama Board and look forward to seeing your journey unfold!

Dr. Dewitt was my surgeon in 2007.  I have had no complications.  He and his staff are great.
