Weight Loss Seminar

This is my first post for the state forum.  I would like to know if anyone will be going to the weight loss seminar at Flowers Hospital, in Dothan on Feb 12 at 6 pm?

Hello and Welcome to our Bama board family!! I live in Birmingham and had RNY 7/27/06. Congrats on the beginning of your journey. Please keep posting and let us know how you are progressing. I look forward to hearing more from you. If I can help you with anything.. please let me know.

Thank you, I think I am going to go with RNY.  I would love to find a buddy in the area to help and if I am able to in any way help them.  I have a few friends who have been through this, but being an active duty Army family, none are near by to coddle me and hold my hand!

I had RNY in June of 2006 at Flowers Hospital, Dr. Beaver did my surgery. I live in Abbeville and if you need anything just holler!! I'll help you in any way I can!

Dr Beavers no long does wls.  The only person to do it in the Dothan area now is Dr Robbins.  I havne't gotten any info on him yet.

Yea I knew he was no longer doing the surgery, Dr. Robbins assisted him on mine and he did my neice's surgery. He is a very good surgeon but at the time he just didn't have much of a bedside manner (in my opinion) and I just loved Dr. Beaver. I hear very good things about Dr. Robbins, if I remember correctly he did Becky's (bulldog lady) surgery.
