Good Morning

Yep I am up really early.....our furnace went out last night. I didnt say anything to my husband because I thought it was just me,but this morning when I rolled over and he was out of bed so early I got up to find him trying to fix it. We know what is wrong and the repairmen were here a couple of months ago and recommended we replace a part but we got caught up in other things and didnt get it done. So here we are with another cold snap and the furnace out. We do have a fireplace but with my birds I dont use it so will be seeing about moving them to another room with some kind of heat and light up the fireplace until repairs are made

Sorry to hear you  furnace is out.. thank God yall do have a fireplace that will do the job for a few days. I havent saw you posting pictures of your birds lately. You are going to have to show them off again soon. You have some beautiful feather-babies. Have a wonderful Blessed day!!!

It will be ok. we have electric blankets that we can use, the most crucial thing is that I get heat source for my birds.
I was just thinking I need to try to get some more pictures of my bird.....he is in there now chatting away saying it is naptime....that and "I have a red butt" are his new favorite sayings. I do love my feather and fur babies!!!!

Oh Kim, I am so sorry about this.  Our a/c went out back in August and boy was it hot.  It took them 2 weeks to finally get our heat pump installed.  You stay warm. 

It will be ok, we knew we needed the part at some point. all we have to do is call the repairmen and he will order the part. Like I said as long as I can keep my birds warm the rest will work out. as soon as the little ones get picked up we will head out to get the proper heat bulbs for the birds and move them into a smaller room away from the fireplace and use it if we need to. Worse case scenerio I can take my birds to one of my kids house until it is fixed.
