Hi Faye Anne,
You saw the story on TV about me? I did it with the best of intentions and then when I wanted to get the WHOLE story out, they told me that they couldn't get involved in case there was a malpractice suit. I feel like I led people to his doorstep and then couldn't do anything about it after I realized what a horrible person he was. I'm sorry you went through all you did.
Do you see other doctors advertising on TV like he does? I don't. It makes me wonder why he's gotta try so hard to get patients, you know? Most doctors can rely on their reputations and don't need expensive commercials.
He's sure good at fooling people. The doctor who saved my life even told me that he thought the guy was an idiot. He came into my room before lapband removal and said, "I spoke with Dr. kemmerling. He's a 'nice' guy. Wow, what an idiot." My savior surgeon didn't have a single decent word to say about the guy and for good reason. A bad doctor knows a good doctor will be able to see right through the nonsense.
How are you now, FayeAnne? I hope you're better?

Gosh! What tales! Bobby Wu is doing my surgery RNY on Dec 23. Merry Xmas to me.
I live outside Chicago near the WI border and am looking for a support group in Gurnee/Waukegan/Kenosha/Racine area. Anyone know of anything? Are there enough of us to start one?

I do not know how much I can help, but my insurance filling was all handled through my bariatric surgeon's office. I was fortunate that mine went through without a hitch. My surgery will be at UW Madison, so unfortunately it is not local. You could maybe give them a call and ask them questions though, they maybe of help.

I'm looking for local contacts in the Milwaukee Metro area. I am fighting the insurance thing any help I can get from local contacts would be invaluable.
Hoping to make new friends!

Topic: RE: MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!
In Wisconsin I know of one surgeon that takes Medicare and Medicaid. His name is Dr. Chua and he works out of Milwaukee at Aurora Sinai-Samaritan Hospital. I'm sure he works at other Aurora Hospitals but Sinai-Samaritan has the best bariatric surgery program with Dr. Chua's staff willing to do WHATEVER it takes to get Medicare-Medicade to pay for the surgery.
Aurora Sinai-Samaritan Hospital--950 N 12th st. Milwaukee Wi.
Bariatric surgery program 414-219-3000
Dr. Chua--414-281-9665
I hope this info helps.

Nicci - your TV story is actually what made me decide to go through with contacting a doctor about getting the surgery done - wow, small world!!! I'm sorry you had to go through bad stuff with Dr. Kemmerling also Nicci. I really wonder why he has such a chip on his shoulder -- he obviously isn't doing a very good job. And, I can say, I am the type of person that gives compliments over criticism about people -- so I don't want others that may read any of my posts thinking that I am "one of those people" that complain all the time. I love to give credit when credit is due - but there truly is no credit to give with him. And to think I praised him up and down to people -- especially the ones that had negative things to say about him -- until I got a taste of it.
