On the top of this screen , click events . There is a list there . If you click on to the calender , it's not on the calender , yet . It is an OH event . they don't typically list non-Oh events .

Chances are we will no longer be in the States by that time - we might be back in Oz by then.

However, if we ARE still here, I'll come along too, and I'll be able to offer a bed to someone from further away - we're only about 30 minutes drive from Seattle.

Oh Karin , I bet you're excited . I'm sure you've missed your friends & family from home . It would be great if you didn't move until after the conference .

No, we're not excited at this point. We have a daughter in grade 12 - a few months away from graduating and I'll have kittens if we get sent back home before June.

On top of that, I have mixed feelings about it all anyway. There is good and bad about both countries, and whilst I do miss a few things about Australia, I detest the heat and humidity over there;  I find it VERY hard to cope with it.
I don't even complain much about all the endless wet, dreary days over here, because I much prefer that to sweating like crazy, it makes me SO miserable.

I'm in no rush to get back to the heat, certainly not before my daughter gets to graduate. Cross fingers for us that we get to stay a bit longer, please. I'd even be quite happy to wait until daughter #2 graduates in 2012.

That would be awful , if you had to leave before your daughters graduation . Reminds me of my youth . My dad was in the service . Sometimes we only lived in a place one year . I'll keep my fingers crossed for you .
