Gurgling?

Early on, my sleeve used to emit the most astonishing sounds. Like aliens had landed. I think its pretty normal. It gradually decreases though I still get it now an again. So don't worry about it. Use a gas-x strip if you feel uncomfortable.

My stomach has been doing that since surgery in 2015. My husband and I refer to it as my alien...it's like a symbiont living in there...and that is it talking. (Ok, we are both Trekkies and scifi geeks).

Funny, I call mine my alien too! I am almost 4yrs post-op and I still gurgle. Not all the time, but it still happens. Of course, it happens the most when I really, REALLY don't want it to (read: work meetings). LOL

we call my gurgles my stomach dinosaur. two years out and i still gurgle on the regular.

Two years out and I still gurgle daily! We just call it BOB (my stomachs name) talking. And he talks a LOT!! Actually scares my hubby at times even.

I swear sometimes I think it's trying to form words...! Bwhahahaha!

When my stomach gurgles I pat my it and chest like a baby. It makes me burp a little and then it stops. Works every time.

I stomach was loud and rumbling for a while. Not drinking for 10-15 minutes before eating helped. It's already much quieter, I am about 5 months post op.
