I have my three month follow up today, though it was closer to four months since my WLS and have lost 50 lbs (and 4 oz!) Since 10/25... only 23.5 pounds too being under 200... right on track for my 6 month check in May.

Best thing? I went to the lab for blood work and the tech went right for my arm. First time in over ten years that I didn't have to have blood drawn from my hand!

Congrats on the weight loss progress. And that is a major NSV!!!! I always hate getting blood work drawn - because it takes multiple locations to get enough vials, ugh stupid veins don't like to give up blood!

Feel the same way, ladies!  I went for my 2 month followup last Thursday and they finally got a vein, didn't have to use a butterfly hand stick!  Yay, us!  Now I wish they would get back to me with the results.  If I don't hear something by lunch hour today, I'll probably call my surgeon's office.  I am down 48 lbs total, 39 since surgery 11/29.  Though I would like it to be faster, I am feeling so much better than I did when I had my lap band for 6 years.  I'll take that as a NSV!
