Keto and VSG together are an amazing combo.

Keto in its most basic form is simple. Keep carbs below 20g net a day, moderate protein and high fat.

You will find a lot of success and health benefits from only doing the above- that's how I started. After it started transforming my life I became obsessed with wanting to know more about the science behind it and why it works and what it can do for you. I now follow other guidelines in addition to the above but I don't recommend that to start.

It is likely that keto can clear up your mental health as well- it has for me at least.

I feel like I am trying to sell something but I am not- It just really has been life transforming for me and wanted to share.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Best of luck.

I just want to post that I'm in the same boat as you. I was sleeved in 2010 and slowly the lbs came back. My lowest was 122 and I'm not 155. I can't complain because it's a far cry from my highest but even this small weigh gain has me in panic mode. I realize how I got here, I ate what I wanted and would stuff myself until it pretty much hurt. I'm now trying to get back on track by low carb and keeping myself around 800 calories just until I lose the extra weight. I'd like to be at 135 so I don't have far to go. Also, I found myself drinking...... a lot!!! on the weekends. Every single weekend. I'll be cutting down on that as well. Anyway, I'll be on here just to help keep myself on check. But just know your not the only one. :)

Sometimes the change in the diet improves the GERD as well. How much have you lost, if ya don't mind the ask?

mi75 ... glad to hear you're making progress in the right direction again.

I hope your life is settling down a bit these days. That was a lot to go through.
