New to this

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and I'm looking for advice on weight loss surgery. I've decided I'd like to do the gastric sleeve. Has anyone here ever had surgery done in Tijuana? Is it safe to go there for surgery? I know it's a ton cheaper than here. Any thoughts? 

Many people have surgery in Mexico. Just be sure you really do your research and get first hand recommendations.  Some surgeons and/or programs there are good, some aren't. The same could probably be said about US surgeons. 

Does your insurance not cover WLS?

My plan says it doesn't cover WLS but since I'm just starting out, I haven't actually called to verify it. I'm just exploring my options right now. Thank you for the advice! :)
