Crazy Victory - Can't Comprehend!

Hello! Hello!

I had to share because my brain cannot process this AT ALL. Today I weighed in at 174... making it EXACTLY 174 lbs. lost since my starting weight - the night before my 2 week pre-op diet started. 

It's just so hard for me to grasp that I am literally half the person I used to me. Does it ever get easier to grasp??

Sometimes yes, but other times no. I am about 200 lbs down from my HW, and I cant comprehend it. If I didn't have pictures to prove how big I was, I wouldn't believe that I could have weighed that much. Sometimes I get acute flashbacks to being that big where I can comprehend the change, but far and few between these days.

Wow! That is amazing! I feel very much the same way. Sometimes I think, "Well, yes, I know I lost weight. I know I'm smaller, but I just don't think I'm as much smaller as I should be, knowing what the numbers are." It's such an odd experience.

every single day i'm amazed and thankful and keep pressing on.  my only regret is that i explored this option for over 7 years and wish i'd not waited . . . but i did and it's okay . . . .

my crazy victory was when i realized i hit the point of losing what my dog and cat combined weigh . . .  and that had i not lost the weight (and still have a bit to go), i wouldn't be there for them . . . .

Yes! I feel exactly the same way. It was suggested to me like 5 years earlier and I was like "No way! I can do it on my own!" Hindsight, right?
