Popping in to say "hello" to everyone.  I have gotten out of the habit of getting on the computer because when I get on the computer, little else gets done.  So, I check  FB and email on my phone to keep me moving and motivated.  It has helped me with keeping the house clean and running errands, but has left me woefully behind with all my friends here.  I will TRY to do better with OH, but make no promises.

As for ME....  Busy, crazy schedules with the kids and hubby, and working on losing some regain.  Stress causes me to graze all day long.... and with Justin joining the military and all that entails.....and my next son refusing to even discuss college (he wants to join the Marines) and facing him leaving soon....as well as problems with my parents (my mother).... not to mention transitioning to life after hubby's military retirement.... Well, lets just say, life has been stressful and I've been munching.

The MyFitnessPal app on my phone is helping though.  I've been logging *almost* every bite and keeping my calories to 1200 or below.  Trying to get some extra movement into each day too.  So far I've lost 4 pounds, gained back 5 (Thanksgiving - travelling to my family, his family and to see our son) and re-lost 4....thus, I've lost 3 from where I started. Just glad I recognized the regain before it got out of control. Not being able to fit into my jeans and not having any larger ones "just in case" made the difference.  I'm SO glad I got rid of them when I lost weight back in the spring.  :)  Now I HAVE to take care of it when it starts creeping upwards as I REFUSE to buy a size larger.

Other than that, I have 3 sons with birthdays (1 in Dec and 2 in Jan), our wedding anny and son coming home (both on Dec 21), Christmas and New Years all ahead.  Been busy with shopping and decorating.  Some days I fake it till I make it.  Some days the smile is genuine.  Still dealing with the lack of friends in town.  But, I am a survivor.  It's getting better, slowly.

Hope everyone is having a great week.  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!!

Busy day ahead... I really have to get my Christmas shopping started.  I hate waiting till the last minute but I also hate not knowing what to get people and having to walk around aimlessly trying to figure it out.  I wasn't worried about it too much because we were going to wait till January to get together with my in laws in Waco but now they have decided to move it to next weekend.

Today is the 7 year anniversary of the first date with my husband, you would think I would remember as we have celebrated this day every year but this year he reminded me.  Man I felt silly, first thing he said this morning was Happy Anniversary and I responded with "we got married in March not December."  Hopefully since he is usually the one who is bad with dates he will forgive me.  We plan to go and have dinner at a bar in San Marcos that we frequented back then, should be fun.

Please pray for my friend Carrie, she is getting a tummy tuck today.  Pray for her to have a complication free surgery and a speedy recovery.  I will be taking care of her Friday night through Sunday, hopefully that will help her since I know what to expect and how to help her being I just went through it myself.

Everyone have a GREAT day and try to stay warm.

Hey You Guys!

Let's see... I saw my life skills kids this morning. I'm still intact so that's always a plus. Yesterday I got punched. Not hard mind you, but the human body has a fight or flight reaction to stressful events. As a human, one's first reaction is to "fight" back; as a speech therapist I have to pull it in check and reprimand instead of react. Not always the easiest thing to do when you're getting beaten up. I do love what I do luckily.

Counting the days until I have all my chicks back in the nest. Chase's last final is Saturday. He's not thrilled about it at all. Kaylee flies home on the 21st. I'm trying to persuade mom and dad that if I buy the way that they should come celebrate Blake's first Christmas and birthday with us. The girls are out of school next Friday and I'm out the following Wednesday. Dirk started a new schedule, so he is working the next 8 days straight for 11 hours a day, but then after that he gets the next 7 off. He is also going to take a few days off around Christmas so I think all in all he's supposed to be home for almost two weeks. With ALL of my chicks in the nest I may need to FLY soon! lol

I can't wait until the work day is over tomorrow! I'm so ready for the weekend!
Hugs!!
