WLS Saturday Train
I've been up for a while after waking several times during the night. Last 2 nights I'm dealing with charlie horses, ugh, will push water today and probably get some potassium in since I've dealt with low potassium a time or three since surgery.
Most of my house work is done already, that's the good of waking early. As soon as the boys are awake I'll get their rooms and the upstairs bathrooms clean. Rest of the weekend will be chore FREE!!!!!
Today is the Christmas Under the Oaks Festival. A guy friend and I are bringing our children to ride the carnival rides, look at crafts, listen to music. I'm really looking forward to it, hoping it brings lots of laughs and fun and it will along with some Christmas spirit.
Cheering Gina and Corbin on from afar, I'm proud of you my friend you are a great example of paying it forward to all of us.
Prayers for Saundra and her family, Meggie and her family and all others on the TMB. It's been a year for many of us I'm truly hoping 2012 brings lots of prosperity, faith, comfort, and joy to each of you.
Off to figure out what I'm cooking this weekend. We ate leftovers all week I need to quit cooking so much around here, we throw away way to much.
Hugs,

I am up early, dressed and ready to about to head out the door but thought I would board the train before I left.
Heading to Sulphur Springs to visit day today, older sister is in San Antonio on a much needed break, her work PC crushed this week and then her cell phone stopped charging all on the same day so she has been stressed this week, All three of us and cousin was suppose to go meet another cousin for a girl weekend but me and younger sister stayed behind to take care of Dad. Worked out cause other sister is working today so she can be off one day next week as her DH has to have a day surgery.
Thinking I am going to stop in town at RedBox and rent a couple of movies to pass the time today.
Gina, good luck with the marathon
Dina, have fun at the festival
Prayers for Meggie
Wishing everyone a great Saturday!

Good morning, family!! I slept until 6:30 this morning-nearly unheard of, in my world! Then I wanted to "review" yesterday's train, since I never had a chance to climb back aboard, since early yesterday morning..
Yesterday was a "Monday in disguise"..WTH..we had 3 admissions and a death..and half our staff was off duty. My Director of Nurses/buddy/office roomie went to Austin, on a field trip with her grandson's school and I REALLY missed HER. Her "alternate" is new/LOUD/abrasive/knows EVERY damn thing in the universe/has her own office, but insisted on sitting in Pauleyye's chair/tried to "bond" with me all day...very difficult to have 2 abrasive know it alls together all day-ya know??? I got the first massive headache I'd had all week, and by 6pm (I was supposed to get off at 4pm) I was ready to pull HER head off. and use it like a bowling ball, to knock her over...and what does SHE do?? She freakin' HUGS me and says "Thank you for a WONDERFUL day"..and she MEANT it..sheesh..I can't even get my "mean" on right anymore..lol..
I came home...ate a few CARBS...watched some old Dexter...crashed and burned...
Now I'm up...need to go pack my stuff for the weekend...foot bandaids..compression pants..Under amour..the list goes on..supposed to be high 30s and raining..WOOHOO...better than 90 and sunny, but requires lots of layers of clothes, I'm thinking....
DANA-your day's plans sound PERFECT-you know I'm going to want a FULL report!!
SAUNDRA-hope your day goes well. I'm assuming your dad still in hospital since you said going to SS. You're such a good daughter!
To all my TMB family-thank you so much for your ongoing support for Corbin and I. I know, that you know, 99% of me doing this race is for HIM-because he is so focused, and this gives him an excuse to exercise, and I worry about his health, with our family history of heart disease/obesity/etc, and him being only 22..and y'all always stick by us, and act like I'm actually one of those android/half nekkid Marathon RUNNERS..and I love you for it!!!!!!
Please have a fun, SAFE Saturday

We Can Do Hard Things

Four year old had a BLAST going through the Christmas light park last night! Did the standard Friday "suppy" run after the light park while we were out. Did not take long for her to go to sleep after we got in. Taking her to a "talkie" in a little bit. Other than that hunkering down for cold wet weather not much happening.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
