Thursday WLS Express
I'll take the controls this chilly AM......
Work on tap for today. Upper 30's this morning and I have to put my "company" car in shop to get the AC fixed. If it's not working right then my defroster is not working right either.
Have an on line class to finish that I started yesterday. Part of some thrilling stuff from FEMA we have to go through to be eligible for grant money.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Not much going on this AM at my house. The dogs are waiting for their Daddy to come home from work. LOL They are SO funny doing what they do when they know it's time for him to get home. Can't believe it is 2 weeks till Thanksgiving. This year is going to be really different for Thanksgiving since my middle son is in Teen Challenge. We will be spending some of the day with those guys. They all call me Mom because I bring them goodies every tuesday night. This week one of the guys was waiting at the door watching for me to pull in the parking lot. LOL It was so funny...the guy came out and asked me if I needed any help carrying anything in. Really cute. My son got over the flu that he had ( i don't remember him ever having the flu before ), He wanted to go to the doctor till I told him there is NOTHING a doctor can do for the flu. Glad he is over it and doing good now. Well....nothing is on my agenda for today other than cleaning my house. Have a blessed day everyone.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Work is on the agenda today hoping it goes by fast as tomorrow is a holiday so 3 day weekend for me. Dad doesn't have to have surgery so he may get out today or tomorrow. He will be sent home on IV antibiotics so they are setting up Home Health Care.
Have a great day!

Not much in my world - Just working
I have felt like crap since Sat night ( I woke up about 2-3 really dizzy) and I've been dizzy ever since - some days are worse than others and TODAY is REALLY BAD !! I think it is a bad case of vertigo.
I got 2 cortisone shots in my knees yesterday - starting the series of (3) Synvisc steroid. I think that my left knee is worse this morning and my right one seems better. My glucose this morning was only 159....I thought it would be higher !!
I'm going to chalk is up to just being "sore" in and around the injection site. But I'm sure it will get better. Time will tell !! After all - arthritis does get worse when its cold - and well - 40's - that is COLD to us TX folks that had experiences a really HOT HOT summer.
Vivian: Sounds like you have another additional family (the guys wait for you to show up with goodies on Tuesdays) that is just awesome !! Glad son is feeling better.
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Good afternoon, TMB family!! I'm taking a quick break, and wanted to check in. Nothing much to report, but wanted y'all to know I was thinking of you (actually, y'all are never far from my thoughts-even when I don't catch the train for days at a stretch!)
Corbin and I are continuing our exercise/training for our upcoming 1/2 marathon. HE is doing really well-his mama..eh..she's kinda old and slow..but her heart is in the right place. TRACEY has rejoined us, in our sessions, this week, though she'll be cruising the ocean during White Rock time...
Work is..well...work..we've had a couple of 'tough" deaths, and some very "sweet" ones..it's all part of the job. I'm blessed to be in a line of work I truly BELIEVE in. I can't imagine having to go to work to work every day if I had to do something I hated-even if it was for alot of money..
Hope everyone is having a truly great day!!!
