LCBB how long did it take you????

I have been to my consultation. Figured out the type of surgery. Dr. Morgan said I would be getting a letter in the mail in about 2 weeks telling me my surgery date. It has been 2 weeks and no letter yet. Should I call my insurance to make sure it has been requested? lol Sorry but I'm sooo anxious. I'm glad I have to work this morning so I don't go crazy waiting!!! Share your experiences. It seems like everyone else gets their surgery date and then waits for the insurance. Thanks! teresa

Yep bug the heck out of them.  I was able to go to my insurance website and see when I was approved.  I pre-selected my surgery date, so I knew when I was getting mine.  It was funny because I knew before the ofc did that I was approved.  Joyce called me that day and I was like "yep I know, I have been approved".  She was like darn I wanted to be the one to tell you . Yep, I would call and see what the status of both the date and your insurance is.  Insurance companies don't want to pay, so they will stall if you don't bug them. Good luck!

Call your insurance company and make sure that they got your stuff!!! Mine was sent to the wrong area for my insurance company and it delayed me for about 2-3 months!!! Call and don't take "no"" for an answer!

I'm so glad I called my insurance. They told me that the info. has been submitted for July 23rd..Wooohooo! Party time!! Teresa
