OT: Paris *F'ing* Hilton

Medical considerations "played a part" in the decision to offer Hilton home confinement for the remainder of her sentence, Whitmore said. He said privacy rules prohibited him from giving details about the medical issues, but celebrity Web site TMZ.com earlier quoted sources saying Hilton was refusing to eat much of the jail food served her.  Whitmore said that after "extensive consultation with medical personnel" it was decided to offer Hilton "reassignment" to home confinement, which she and her attorneys accepted. So, She can break the law and get out of her sentence by refusing to eat?  OMG!!!!  How many people go on hunger strikes every day in prison?  Do they get to serve out their sentence lounging by the pool? Is there a congressman or something I can write? I am DISGUSTED!!!!

I was wondering what had happened.  I have not had a chance to read the article.  That is stupid and you are right, people go on hungry strikes in prison all the time, dont see them getting out of their sentence... OOPS, I am agreeing with you, Sorry Julie

OMG... I don' t know what you are so upset about...  I...... like Paris live a life you common folks will never understand...... I'm blonde.. I'm beautiful.. and it doesn't matter if I or my friend Paris make a sex tape in one of her parents zillion hotels and it's released on the internet for a million people to see... and it launches her now FAMOUS and EXCITING Acting career!!! .. or if I or she's caught drinking and drive.. We always come out smelling like roses...  Let's face the facts here, the ONLY REASON  Paris was picked on, was because she turned the cop down for a date that weekend.. this is HIS WAY of getting back at her... and just so you know...prision is NO PLACE for girls like us!  What do you common people expect us to do?? Submit to your peon level?? GET REAL! This has been just as harsh on Paris as it has on me.. I mean... I had no idea until I was visiting Paris on visiting day tha****er came from a "tap" ... Even my hair spritzer water is bottled for crying out loud!  You people just need to accept the fact that people like us.. are American Royals... we live above and beyond what some chica in SC could ever dream of.. GET OVER YOURSELF  Little Missy! P.S. On Paris' way home from PRISION.. she stopped and had her ankle bracelet encrusted with diamonds... We wouldn't want her clothes to clash with a state issued piece of jewerly!!

Did any of you see Oprah last week I think it was??? The one with the family who got in the car accident coming home from their wedding reception in Vegas.. long story short.... lime ride home, 2am with their kids and parents, drunk driver giong the wrong way in traffic, head on collision, 9 yr old decapitated by seat belt, grandfather lost legs from seat belt, chauffer died and burned on limo engine, drunk driver fine. Mom gets outta wreckage and carries daugthers head out of wreckage and sits on side of hwy and watches police try to rescue her other daughter. cop comes up and says your daughter Gracie needs you. She says I cant leave Katie (the decapitated daughter)... officer says "I'll watch Katie" so mother kisses daughter cheek and hands head to cop.  officiers on the scene were on Oprah and said it was the WORST accident they had ever seen. I know thats NOT a good way to start the morning, but the crazy thing was that Oprah pooled the audience and over 80% admittted to driving under the influence... MORAL OF THE STORY: AMERICA IS OK WITH DRUNK DRIVING! ITS NOT PUNISHABLE, ALMOST EVERYONE DOES IT AND WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE WAY WE TREAT THE CRIME BEFORE ITS SOMEONE WE LOVE IS THE VICTIM!!!! everyone says, "oh its just ONE drink" ... but WHEN will it matter? do you have to kill someone before ONE drink is too much???? Katie's mother said most people are embarassed to say they pick their nose, but not embarassed to admit that they put someones life at risk by DUI. If its not Paris Hilton, its the man who hit the limo and runied that family FOREVER!!!!  I cant even watch the whole episode, and I TIVO'ed it cause it just c hokes me up everytime and makes me sick to my stomach... but its someones reality. its someones NIGHTMARE!!! I urge ALL of us on the board to write to our congressman and law makers to URGE and DEMAND stiffer penalities for DUI cases and repeat offenders. Maybe something like Cali's 3 strike law... after a DUI you loose your license for a year or two or five...  I dont know what the answer is, but I know thats it not taken seriously in Congress and so we need to make them take it SERIOUSLY!!! take some time out today or this weekend to write a letter!! Take a few minutes outta your day to actually care because it could just as easily be one of us suffering one day!

Sorry for the gloom, but after watching Oprah, I am so passionate about this right now!
