Vitamins and protein
Jennifer, I mix about a cup of 1% milk with the No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast. Then I add 1 1/2 scoops of Any Whey protein powder. I add 2 or 3 ice cubes - it seems to really take any lumps out (but this mixture doesn't make lumps). I then put it in a cup with a lid so I don't smell it or see it - I know you have problems with the smell. This actually smells good though!
See if you like it. It totals about 40 gms of protein so try to drink it slowly so it will have a chance to be absorbed. We can only absorb about 30-40 gms of protein at a time. Any more than that is just wasted.

I still struggle with my protein too. I keep nuts and sun flower seeds with me at all times. I have found that I can eat tuna and it doesn't get stuck. I mix tuna with Dukes mayo, add a diced onion and salt and pepper. I take a slice of tomato and dice it up and eat it alone or on a cracker. I can eat 3 or 4 crackers like that. Grapes, bananna's and oranges go down good too. I also take suger free hot ****o and mix a scoop of protein in it. You can't taste the protein, it just taste like hot chocolate. I have found that when I eat nuts or sun flower seeds daily, I go potty daily.

Hey Jennifer!
I take the Optisource vitamins too ... try to get in 4 a day, although sometimes I forget. And I have started using Profect protein ... it's a clear, fruit-flavored (there are several ones to choose) drink that comes in a vial. You only have to get down a couple of swallows to fini**** and it's 25 grams of protein.
I've also used the Pure Protein shakes ... I liked the Banana Cream flavor best. (The chocolate was NASTAY.)
