Very Annoyed
I'm so pissed off right now with Lisa from Dr Bryne office that I'm ready to just quit! She's not doing what she says she's doing about faxing our paperwork to the insurance companies and it's holding us up. I called Tri Care again this morning and they said they have NOT heard from his office since they faxed their stuff over saying they needed more info. I called Lisa back and she tells me she still hasn't sent it over but she would get to it this week. Now last week she told me she was doing it that day.
This just really irritates me that she lied.

You should look at some of my old post. I went through the same thing with Dr.B's staff. I started calling everyday and just showing up to the office to make sure they do what they said they would do. I called them every single day for 60 straight days until she told me that she didn't think I would get approved and maybe I should try a weight loss program and try again later. I didn't accept that answer either. You have to stay on them and offer to pick up paperwork and fax it yourself or just bug the sh#$ out of them until they do what they say they are going to do. Try to turn that anger into determination and push forward hun. In the meantime, have a drink for me (I'm only 2 mths out and really could use one right now)!

I don't have a # for Amanda. It just annoys me that last week she told me she was faxing that info over right then, but didn't. If she didn't do it that day she should've done it the very next and still hasn't but told me that I should be approved by Friday at the latest. I wasn't and checked again this morning and same crap so I called Tri Care. Of course theres nothing they can do unless she calls them and she hasn't done that either. She's trying to blame her mistakes on someone else and it's NOT right.
Funny thing is at the first class with Dr Byrne he made a point to let us know NOT to call and bless Lisa out because she works her hardest on getting everyone approved and that it's not her fault if something doesn't get sent in or we dont' get approved. BULL**** it is her fault so I don't blame anyone that calls her upset with her because she hasn't done her job.

I had the same problem with a girl that is no longer at Dr. Bour's office. What I did is found out the name, number and fax number of the decision maker at the ins company. Asked what they required, got everything myself. What Dr. Bour's office neede to do, I snet them the itemized list of what they needed. Then bugged them daily. That way I knew I did everthing that I could and left no stone unturned. Now I have to try to do the same thing 9 months later for plastic surgery.
Hang in there! Do not give up and tell the doctor, that is money out of his pocket if you leave and they do not like that!!!

Well obviously Amanda was NO help either. I'm NOT calling that office again. If I have the surgery fine if I don't then I'll be upset but I'll survive. I don't want them thinking I'm a pest and treat me horribly when I go in for my surgery. Amanda was NO help at ALL and she was rather rude and said Lisa was doing her job and didn't care about the fact that she lied. Now I know why Dr Byrne said not to call and yell at Lisa. She must get yelled at DAILY because of this same crap.

Tanya, awww please don't tell me this! I haven't even had my initial visit with this Dr. yet. I wonder what the typical wait is for the WLS from this office. Tomorrow I go to my PCP to get the release and letter of clearance and then will send in my paperwork back to Dr. Byrnes office. Fingers crossed! Good luck and hope you see action fast!
