Question?
Hey Amee!
While I am no doctor, I had a similar problem about three years ago. My left hip, knee, and ankle and foot killed me from the time I got up, until the wee hours of the morning. (I had to sleep with a pillow between my knees to give me any relief from pain. I carry ALOT of extra weight, and thought I was doomed to hurt forever. Well, I swallowed my pride and went to a chiropractor. Well, I didn't believe in chiropractors until this, but my extra weight pulls my hips out of allignment, which makes my muscles pull and get stiff and sore, this continued until it affected my whole left side, and gave me nerve pain. With a few adjustments - (covered by my insurance!) I got relief, and only go back when I begin to feel the presure or pain in my hips and back.
I had my surgery in Feb, 07, and already I can do so much more. I look forward to the day when my hips will stay alligned! You may want to consider a chiropractor . . Just thought I would put in my two cents! Good luck!

hey
my knee used to hurt some and creaked when i walked and especially up and down steps. i have notice now it doesnt. i was in a car accident on 11/17/04 and that did not help it any. i am only 3 weeks out and bout 20 less pounds. So yes maybe it could be from weight. try those heat wraps that thermacare makes, they help for many different aches.
good luck on surgery!

Hey Amee!!
Before surgery...everything hurt. Every morning when i got out of the bed I felt like a very old woman!!! Now, I can actually get up and walk to the bathroom and not look like a weeble wobble!!!!!
Since your pain is one sided, it could be your sciatic nerve. If it doesn't go away you may want to chack with your doc!! Good luck with it!!!!
