What's that smell!!!???

What is that smell.....oh its me. Man, the last couple of weeks my poots have gotten very stinky and very frequent. I take gas medicine but it only helps for a little bit. Did anyone else develop this stinky farts about 6 months post op!!!?? Rachel

You mean you haven't had it until now?, lol. Dang your lucky then. I can clear out an entire building with one good fart. I have tried gas-x, even tried taking that Devrom (spelling?) and I still have gas and it still smells like road kill on a hot summer day. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the info, too. My poor hubby can't be around the bathroom when I poop either, it's really stinky. I guess its just one of the little extras that comes with the surgery. Mary

Good Morning Rachel I think I remember reading that alot of "sugar alcohol" could cause the sweet smelling gas................. I'll keep checking the posts to see what others say.... Ana

Still have them and I am exactly 1 year out today, ST Patty's day. I have never been more gaseous in my life. Julie
