ALL THIS TATTOO TALK
I currently have two tattoos and hope to get at least 4 more. I have the SC Palmetto Tree and Crescent on my right leg and an angel on my left leg. I am going to Savannah the weekend of the bridge run to get another one. I want the Jesus fish on my right wrist with the word "savior" under it in Hebrew. Eventually I want to take a trip to Miami and get a portrait of my brother and sister's faces on my left shoulder. There is a girl down there (Miami Ink, TLC, 10pm, Tuesdays) who specializes in portrait work. She is awesome!!! I LOVE TATTOOS!!! If I knew that my mom would not have a coronary, I would probably get a full sleeve.
Just make sure that if you get one, it is something you want. Remember, you will have it the rest of your life.

I also have 2. I got one in 1999 when me and my co workers went to Savannah. It is not real large. Its on my right ankle. It is a purple rose with 4 leaves, each on representing one of my children. Oh course I am the rose. I got it after my divorce to show him I could do anything without him. The other one I got in 2003. My now husband and I went to Savannah for him one and he wanted me to get Princess on my shoulder and some flowers because he said I am his princess. He still calls me Princess. I have always loved Cinderella. And wanted to be a princess....Funny huh....Thats all I am getting. Jennifer Vallentine

That's funny how you made me think back. About 5 or 6 years ago I went with some friends and my other half to Myrtle Beach for a fun weekend. Everyone but me wanted a tatoo, so we went right outside of MB to NC and checked out two different shops. Ends up I ended up being the only one to get one. They got one the next night, but they were drinking too much that night. I didn't even want one til I got there, and was told how chicken I was. I got a gream catcher on my left ankle with a leather strap tatooed around my ankle like it was hanging there. Then a few years later I got a turtle tatooed on my right ankle in Michigan. Both of mine represent the Indian in me. My indian name is Debbie Turtle Grooms. I used to think it was because I was slow, then I was corrected that it ment I was thick shelled and tough, ever enduring and that I would go the distance no matter the cost. Now I'm proud to be a turtle. One day when I get a "HOT" body like the rest of you, I will get another one on my lower back. Deb
