Sharing exciting news with my new friends...

Well...I can't sleep....have actually had a migraine and have some meds from the doc as of today...well yesterday now...that I have been taking. Only problem is...there is caffeine in them...LOL. Anyway...I figured...since I was up...I would share some good news! I found out that our house may be ready in July...instead of September! So...maybe...we will get moved into the house BEFORE the baby gets here. That would be AWESOME!!!!! So...in my free time...when I am resting...I am also planning/decorating in my head...LOL. Gives me something to do while my butt is parked on the couch. I actually got out of the house yesterday...which does not happen much because I am supposed to be on rest. I was told I could start doing a little more...but not to do too much. I have an ultrasound in a few weeks to see where we are with everything...and hopefully...that will bring good news. Anyway...as I said...I went OUT yesterday!!! I went to church...and then went shopping for the bathroom my girls will share. It is the cutest....most girlish set....french style....with purses....the shower curtain has those things and also shoes with 3-D puffs on the toes....perfume bottles...it is just precious and my girls had a FIT over it when I showed them! To top it all off...get this...the soap/lotion dispenser is an old fashioned perfume bottle...and the toothbrush holder...was a SHOE!!!!! How cute is that????? So...one room down....too many to go...LOL. Anybody know anything about Moroccan decor? I am thinking about doing our bedroom like that. I just had to share...mainly because I am excited I got to go SOMEWHERE....other than a doc's office. For those who have been on bedrest while preggo...or had extended illness...or just kept yourself in the house like me when you were obese because it was too tiring and painful to go anywhere....I am sure you understand. Glad you were able to get out and have Stephanie. The bath sounds adorable. I love little girlie stuff....I have 3 grandsons (and another grandbaby on the way that I have ordered as a girl - but no one ever listens to me..lol). How old are your girls? I also bought a new house (actually a townhome) last summer and had great fun shopping/decorating it. If nothing else it is a good diversion when you are on bedrest! Hey Susann, I know how it is with placing orders. My son has ordered a boy...and did with the last two sisters he got...LOL. My husband's mom has ordered a girl...LOL...and I am really thankful that the male determines the sex so I won't be blamed for whoever is disappointed! My son is 14, and I have girls that are 10 and one almost 8. The decorating has been a great distraction for me. Lots of planning to do! I would go nuts otherwise...cause I don't know anybody here other than you guys...and the people I have talked to at church. So...I really don't know anyone that well yet since my outings are limited at this point. My hubby is stationed here...so we will be in the area. We are building in the planters trace section. It is not as busy out that way. Hopefully...they will have the house ready in July...so we can move in before the baby gets here! Stephanie

Hey Melissa! I wish I could gain at least a little weight! (temporarily...LOL) I am getting fussed at right now...despite the fact I am eating at least every hour...more like constantly...LOL all day to make sure I always have something in me. I have only gained .5 pounds...and am halfway there! In the beginning of the second trimester...I lost several pounds...don't know why...but the doc was freaking. Usually in the first trimester it is normal to lose....but the second is usually when you start gaining a little! So...it is kind of funny...cause I was obese from being depressed and a couch potato...lol...and now can't gain weight!!!!! Stephanie

the bathroom sounds so cute!!! I was on bedrest with my 2nd child and it was the worst thing ever!!! i was so bored and had a 2 yr old to take care of as well! Glad you got out of "jail" ! jen
