My EGD Results are Good :) Did you see Oprah??

Hey, I am watching Oprah now, and its about people who had gastric bypass and are now out of control partying and drinking, smoking, and having lots of premiscuous sex. Just out of control people who have just lost contol and are for the first time in their lives for most of them, are trying to find love that they did not get as fat people.....and now using their "new bodies" looking for the love they so did not get....substitution love. Only God can fill that hole, no matter if you are fit or This sounds like a few ladies that I have met....what is it with people who substitute one addiction for another?? Food....now beer, or liquor. No wonder so many marriages turn bad. I think its soooo sad to watch these people self distruct If you missed it, I know Oprah comes on later at night sometimes and you can also Youtube it. Very good show. Please if you know someone who is doing any of those behaviours, you owe it to them to confront them!!! SO, new topic I had my EGD today and he said my espohogus looked great and it led to my little pouch, which he said was much, much smaller than Dr Nguyen's pouches and that he could barely call it a pouch because it was soooo little THANK YOU DR BYRNE!!! Dr Byrne told me at one time that his patients do not gain weight because he makes his pouches extra small!!!! I love, love him!! So, if Dr Byrne was your surgeon, you are a blessed person!!! So, we can now all calm down and not worry about stretching our pouches and overeating. Dr. Lee, who did the EGD, said that it will not stretch out, because its been 1 1/2 years, so its done....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, he said at this point, we would just keep looking at my blood levels and as long as they are good, not showing any changes in my liver enzymes, then we will just sort of wait this out somewhat, and see if it will get better over time. The past few days I have been feeling better. The pain is subsiding somewhat, but the nausea is still there a lot. He said kinda what Dr Byrne said to Robin, that sometimes bypass patients just go through things and that it could be one of those things that will pass, or if it is another clogged bile duct, it will show up in my liver enzymes again, so we are going to wait and see if it will heal or get worse. There is no harm at this point in waiting it out.....could the Xango juice be working??? Maybe ??? So, we will monitor my liver enzymes for the time being, and see if anything happens. I have meds for pain and nausea and its more of the nausea at this time, and like I told the doctor today, as long as I don't eat a lot, then I feel better. So, I am trying to keep up my protein, and that is fine. Like Tommy said, if I get below 120, which I am far from at 143, then he will start to get worried. So, that is the update, not real exciting, but I am okay with hanging out and playing it by ear for now. I am sort of sick of doctors and if I can stick with these 2 docs, then I am good Love you guys!! Deb PS, I bought a dress yesterday size 3/4!!!!! not a tight shirt part, A hem line. cut on the bias. I also got 2 binkinis!!!! I am ready guys!!!! Here are my new stats 143lbs, 5'9", size 6 pants, small tops, sometimes medium, depending on cut, size 3/4 dress....depending on cut.....sometimes 5/6, POUNDS LOST=146lbs!!! A whole me, plus 3 pounds!!!! Lower Body Lift with Dr. Fuentes in TJ Mexico, $5400, www.cosmedclinic.com, 12/13/06 Breast Lift and Implants (cohesive gel implants) w/DR. Fuentes, $3900...as soon as I feel better!! Thigh Lift with lipo of hips, flanks (not much) back of legs, knees, with micro fat injections in my bum. (its almost concave now haha)

ok.. im going to Myrtle Beach in a couple weeks.. with some great girls.. weve all lost some weight and are feeling good about ourselves.. want to go out and have a good time, drink some, dance some, smoke cigs(at least me).. and party! No, were not drunks, were not *****s, etc.. but were gonna do this for the social time and fun of it. I also go to church every Sunday.. does that make me a bad person who is going to hell now? No. Just found it odd you put this up now, when we've been talking about going out and drinking in MB , etc. I hope the ones you're talking about are the girls who turn into strippers/prostitutes after surgery bc they are on crack ? because us going out to have some drinks with the girls is not self destructive, its therapeutic! jen

Jen, You crack me up!!! I was thinking of someone specific when I put up about the Oprah show, but not you hun, haha. Someone else, in another state, so baaahaaa. Nah, you can drink and smoke and stuff, and still go to heaven Jesus drank wine, and he danced and I am not sure about smoking. My father in law's pastor used to tell him when he smoked that it might not be a sin that would get him into hell, but he smelled like he had been there, LOL You are fine!!! haha My laugh for the day

Deb I'm so happy everything looked good with your EGD but if you're anything like me you are happy and disappointed at the same time. At least if they found something wrong then you could have it fixed. Its the not knowing what the problem is that is the tough part. I'm still having lots of pain whenever I try eating and drinking but I am forcing myself to do it anyway. My nausea has gotten a lot better but now I am throwing up just about everything that I eat other than creme of wheat and the broth from chicken noodle soup so I am eating that just about all the dang time now. Hey whatever works and will keep me out of the hospital and off the feeding tube. I'm able to drink diet lipton green tea with mixed berry but just like all liquids after a few swallows my stomach gets that knot like pain in it. I purchased some benefiber in an attempt to keep the pipes running like they should but so far if I don't take some sort of laxative they just don't work on their own! I think that is contributing to the pain alot but I don't know what to do about it, not like I can eat foods with a lot of fiber cause I can't hardly eat. Robin, I've got some DocuLiquid which is a Stool Softener Laxative which says it will produce bowel movement in 12-72 hrs. Let me know if you want it. Also please come by tomorrow for our Meeting. 14 Burnt Mills Rd. @ 12pm Jennifer
