Hi All! I moved here in January from Virginia. I am looking forward to meeting new friends! I am currently in the middle of a pregnancy with complications...and don't get out much. I am thankful that my hubby recently moved the puter downstairs so I am not so isolated! It is great to see that a couple of my friends from the Christianity board....Deb and Joan are here! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! Have a great day! Stephanie

hi welcome to the area. I see that you live close to me( I'm off of Dorchester Rd). I hope you are feeling better with the pregnancy. I work as a nurse on Mother/Baby at Tridnet so maybe I'll see you there, good luck

Hi Anne! Small world! I am also a nurse! I will be delivering at St Francis. I have several things going on...and I think everyone is surprised we have kept this baby this long. We lost one last year...and were kind of expecting to lose this one when we found out what was going on. Hopefully...things will calm down soon. I have my big U/S at the end of this month...and hope to get some good news! Looking forward to getting to know you! Stephanie

Hi! I think I've seen you on the preg board before. I was just asking questions at the time of how long should I wait on trying to coceive. Still no luck. Which I guess it is best not to try to soon. Good luck on this little miracle and hope to actually meet you at one of the lcbb meetings!

Hi Crystal! Most docs say to wait 12-18 mo depending on the doc...and the surgery. That being said...I know a girl that got pg a month after her surgery...not on purpose mind you...and went on to have a healthy baby. But...she struggles to get the weight off. There are lots of women on the pg board that have gotten pg 4-6 mo or so post op and have done ok...but it is good that you have waited this long. Our bodies have gone through....and are still going through a marathon of sorts...trying to get adjusted. I hope that you will soon have the baby you long for! Looking forward to getting to know you! Stephanie

Hi, I'm in goose creek also. I'm 15 months out from surgery, but definately no more kids for me. I hope that you can make it to one of our meetings. I was on bedrest though, and remember those awful days. Welcome to SC!!! Mary
