Question for anyone

Because of the nausea I am not getting in protein. Although I am only 3 weeks out my weight seems to have stalled or slowed down. Probably due to not getting enough protein. I just do not have an appetite. My question is. Has anyone tried the vials of whey protein? If so which ones and please describe the taste. My poor weak pouch can only handle so much. Thank you to everyone. Jennifer

The whey protein is great what we did was and still do mix it in to a carnation instant breakfast drink (sugar free) and that way the taste is pretty good and you will feel so much better good luck

Is absolutely everything you eat making you sick? I'm so sorry you are going through that. It won't last forever, although at this point it probably seems like it will. I've not had the vials of whey protien but I've heard that you should get them very very cold. There's also Prostat if you get desperate. It is not great tasting at all, but it has TONs of protien in about 1-2 oz. If you could even a tablespoon of that down, it would be alot more protien than you are getting in now anyway. Make sure you are at least drinking plenty of fluids. Its important that you stay hydrated since you are probably in ketosis from such a low calorie intake. You don;t want to add dehydration on top of that. Kathy

The problem with the carnation instant breakfast is its milk. Milk makes me sick. I am at a lose. Thank you everyone. Jennifer

Try Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex whey protein powder. I've only tried the chocolate flavor, but they have other flavors. It's actually okay too mixed with water instead of milk. Take 1 scoop and shake with 4-6 oz of cold water. This would give you about 23 grams of protein.

Jennifer, Vitamin Shoppe has New Whey 3 oz vials fruit punch or orange with 25 or 42 grams protein. 25g is $2.49 and 42g is $2.99 Oh and the orange I think is yucky...not that the fruit punch is the greatest thing either but I can tolerate it a heck of a lot more than the orange. Jen

Jennifer, I do the New whey vials at work, I like the blue raspberry. They are better cold but if you sip sip sip them they go down quickly as they are only 3 ozs. At home I do Nectar Lemon Tea, it is diluted with water 1 scoop has 23gms of protein and 90 calories.I get it from vitamin shoppe. I found this was the one for me after I got a sample pack of protein supplements from bariatric eating.com...have you looked at that website? Hope this helps I know at first it can be miserable but do get your water in this really helps the weight loss , all the toxins from fat breakdown have to be flushed out. Lesley
