I had my surgery on Feb 7th. I have lost 30 lbs to date. But have noticed I have not lost any in about 4 days. Does anyone know why? I am doing what I am suppose to do. Any suggestions? Jennifer

Keep doing what you're doing! Your body is taking a little breath to adjust to what's going on, and you'll go back to losing shortly. You're doing great! Lisa

30 pounds is great. I'm sure that you boby is just taking a little break. I bet soon when you get on the scale it will be moving quickly again. Just make sure that you are getting in enough fluid. mary

Thank you all so much. I don't know what I would do without all your advice. I am stuck up here in a little town far away from support groups and feel like I am going crazy. The nausea is driving me nuts. I want some strength. My house is falling apart. Are you allowed to lose your mind for a little while a day? I hope so. My poor hubby has to work and he thinks I am losing my mind. he says the house is fine. I cannot tell which clothes are clean and which are dirty in our room. And then my losing stalled. I thought oh no this is all I am going to lose after all I have been through..ARGGG....But you guys have pulled me out of the hole of dispair once more. I feel better now. Noone will be injured here tonight...HAHA...Goodnight to all and Thank you for everything. LOVE JENNIFER

Yeah, we all have gone through this. You can see through really old posts, we all posted the same questions. When you are not losing pounds, your body is losing inches. If you lost pounds everyday, you would become very ill. Your body cannot do that nonstop because it would be too stressful and just not good. I did the same thing, so don't panic. Your body is figuring out what is going on, and it has to rest to be able to maintain your current weight, as that is what it is trying to do. Its a battle with your body, it thinks you are starving, so it is trying to hold on. That is when you need to up your protein and drink more water/protein shakes or vials. I use protica and it helps me. When I drink more protein, I lose more. www.profect.com You can say Dawn or I referred you if you buy and we get a little bit of a credit for it. I don't have the website on my page though, I think Dawn does. You can also click to the left of this post and read it. I love them only 3oz with 25gms of protein. Its all good!! no worries, it will work for you too!! Love, Deb

Hey girl, I know we are both new to the game, but as for me, I try not to keep getting on the scales. By my scales I have lost 30 pounds also. I know Dr. Byrne's scale will be different. For me it will drive me crazy to keep getting on the scale, just look at how your clothes are feeling. I want to be surprised when I go back on the 12th. Good luck. Keep drinking your water and getting your protein. Deb
