I HAVE A DATE WOOHOO!!!
Got the call this morning with my dates - the filter will be put in on April 2nd and the lapband will be done on April 10 and then I will be on the LOSING side!!!!! 
I am so excited, scared, thrilled and anxious all at the same time. My friend Nannied2001 on here had her bypass done yesterday and she is in ICU at Lexington Medical Center. Keep her in your prayers - her husband said she is doing well and came through the surgery just fine - I will keep you updated as I get information. 
WTG Carolyn! I know you are so happy to get your dates and get on your way to a new you. I'm so excited for you and pray everything goes great. I will also keep your friend in my prayers that she will have a speedy recovery and a succesful outcome, on her way to the losing side. Keep in touch please, I wish you lived closer so I could meet you in person. I know we keep in contact on here and with emails, but it's nice to meet your friends face to face. Maybe I can drive down to see you sometime soon. Try to not be afraid, just think about how your going to feel when you start losing the weight, I know, it's the best feeling in the world to get on the scale and see it go down instead of up. Mine has been slow, but at least its still dropping and my clothes continue to get looser. Take care sweetie and congratulations!

Yea! Carolyn...I just read your email to me and sorry I didn't see this sooner. I am so happy for you and so glad we can see each other at support group each month! You will do great and the filter placement is a breeze so don't worry about that. Your life will be new Girlfriend and your brother and sister are going to see the rewards of the gift they gave to you.
