Has this happened to yo....help!
Pray for me...I have been hurting since last night and having awful gas pains (belching) since I ate three noodles with alfredo sauce and 1oz of chicken and two pieces of brocolli steamed very tender. I had to leave church before it even started. Hubby brought me home and I took Prevacid and went to bed but hurt all night.
Took Prevacid at 4am and am still hurting with lots of gas still.
Has this ever happened to you?

Prayers are coming your way. I am sorry you are hurting. I get a lot of gas but usually it goes away after much belching. Excerise is suppose to help with the gas. If you are up for it take a walk, even if it just to the end of the street or driveway or even around the house.
I hope you feel better soon.

YES MA'AM, BEEN THERE; DONE THAT! IT'S USUALLY THE WHITE CARBS WITH ME ... NOT ONLY DO THEY TURN TO SUGAR IN YOUR SYSTEM (just like eating sugar can cause dumping in some), SOME WHITE CARBS LIKE GRITS, RICE & PASTA TEND TO SWELL IN YOUR POUCH CAUSING PRESSURE PAIN. I REMEMBER SOME LADIES TELLING US ABOUT THIS AT AN MUSC MEETING RIGHT AFTER I HAD SURGERY.
THE NOODLES & THE ALFREDO SAUCE ARE MADE OF WHITE FLOUR (WHITE CARBS) & CHICKEN CAN BE VERY HARD TO DIGEST FOR ANY OF US POUCH BABIES (I COULDN'T EAT CHICKEN FOR ALMOST A YEAR) .... BROCOLLI ALWAYS GIVES ME GAS, IT'S JUST PART OF THAT VEGE DURING DIGESTION ... EVEN BEFORE SURGERY, I'D GET GAS FROM BROCOLLI.
SO, YOU HAD SEVERAL THINGS ALL AT ONCE THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED YOU DISTRESS. HOPE YOU'RE FEELING SOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER.
GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk
Dawn...I only had 1T of the sauce if that....on the noodles. And barely 1oz chicken and two brocolli flowerettes...I called the doc and nurse called and said to take Gas X and she would talk to Dr. and if he said anything she would call back. No call yet. I did take 2 Gas X and am waiting for miracle. Only drank Crystal Light so far today and can barely walk w/o pain. I need to go back to work at 2pm and am dreading it. But no Police to take my place so I will go.
