NO more drian tube!!!

I went back to see Dr. Byrne today for my 1st check up and to get my drain tube out. I was expecting for it to hurt, but it didn't. I just felt a little pull. I am so glad it was that easy. In 5 days, I'm down 6 pounds. That sure sounds good to hear that you have lost 6 pounds, rather than hearing you have gained 6 more pounds. I know it's not alot, but looking at the total picture, I know I'm on my way. I'm kinda surprised at how I feel. I feel great. I have tried to keep a positive attitude. I know having surgery hurts, but I didn't want to let myself panic. Only one day since surgery, was it a bad day. I have been so lucky. No, it's not luck, it's my God. He is taking care of me just as I and all of you have prayed asking him to do. I have to keep reminding myself to sit and do nothing. Thank you all for your prayers!!! Deb

Congrats Deb, that drain is definitely one of the worst parts of the whole thing....and boy it is kinda wierd when they take it out. The 6 lbs. is great...you are on your way girl. Hope to see you Thursday!!! Susann

Hi Deb..Glad everything is going well for you. I had to go back into the hospital on Sunday. I was really dehydrated and had a urinary infection. I stayed until Sunday afternoon. So glad to hear your well. See ya later..Jen

Hey Deb I know you must feel great to have that tube out. When I got mine out, I mowed the front yard that same day. I DON'T recomend it. I thought I was going to die. Oh well, you live and you learn. I'm glad you are doing well. I knew you would be. Getting through the 30 days of purees will be a challange, but I'm sure you're up for it. Peace Eddie
