I've got the Monday Morning blues. Work is so boring this am or maybe its just that I don't want to be here I need some protein, nothing sounds good. The fritos in the snack machine are calling my name very very loudly. The evil oreos are calling even louder I feel like I weigh 284 again even though I lost a pound over the weekend. What a yucky Monday Please give me some good food choice ideas Mary

I got a BMT Wrap from subway. i eat half of the 6 inch wrap.. and save the other half for tomorrow. Might not be the healthiest or packed with protein, but its healthier than what i used to get from subway, 12 inch pepperoni, ham, cheese with everything, and sometimes a 6 inch meatball wowza! my scale has been frozen as well, even went up a little bit.. im trying not to be a scale slave but its driving me the carb is all over me too.. like dawn said before, i think its the weather .. hope u feel better! jen

Oh, I'd forgotten how good Subway was. I loved the tuna with lots of cheese and black olives. Now - Its usually the inside of a turkey wrap. I think I conquered the carb devil. I went and got a sugar free icecream bar and some seedless watermelon cubes then ate a protein bar to be good again. I hope the evil carbs get off your back Mary

Joan, I loved your list. Now my big dilemma is what to name my pouch?!? You have given me several ideas for good choices, which I desperately needed. I did go buy some protein bars and fresh fruit after reading your post (along with just a little bit of bad stuff, sugar free ice cream bars). I would love to do this regularly if anyone else if interested. Mary

BTW Mary I do the food log on fitday.com and then cut and paste the food I had. I also save the menu on Word Perfect (word processing program) so I can use the menu more than once. Joan M

I DO THE NO-SUGAR-ADDED FUDGECICLES ... AS FOR FRUIT, I ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE WATERMELON CUBES IN MY FRIDGE FOR SWEETNESS ... &, WHEN THE CARB MONKEY JUMPS ON MY BACK, I SNACK ON THOSE WHITE CHEDDAR QUAKER SOY CRISPS - AT LEAST THEY HAVE A LITTLE PROTEIN ... THE CARB THING IS R-E-A-L-L-Y JAMMIN' MOST OF US! THE FUNNY THING IS THAT MOST OF THE TIME, IT TASTES GOOD IN MY MOUTH BUT MY POUCH TURNS INTO THE "ODIOUS GROUCH POUCH" & CAUSES ME ALL SORTS OF UNPLEASANTNESS SOOOOOOOOOO WHY DO I EAT THEM JUST TO SUFFER? MY WORST ITEMS ARE FRENCH FRIES & THINGS LIKE CHEDDAR PRETZELS ... UHHHH, DAH-UHHHHHHHHHHH! Anything within my grasp!! I think Rachel cursed me...I am having classic PMS cravings - EARLY. Don't visit the upstate this week, all us ladies will be a little moody! I'm trying to calm the PMS Beyotch down with extra veggies and chewing gum (not at the same time...) but I don;t thinks its working...LOL. Kathy
