I feel like a watermelon!

I know i read about swelling after TT and hernia repair but geesh.. i'm feeling like i swallowed a melon whole! Apparently takes weeks and weeks to get over the swell hell(so they call it). But the hanging belly is gone so that is good news.. only one pair of jeans fit at the moment though.. ugh. Going to see the doc on Thursday i'm pretty sure the drain will come out since not even enough to mesure is coming out. Dunno if my stiches will be out of the BB yet but i think it might even look cute.. imagine that! Wish i could have been with you gals last night i miss yas! love Darquise

Darquise, sorry to hear about all the swelling. I heard it takes a long time to go away. You will have to show us your cute new belly button. I am sure I will be jealous. I don't remember the last time my BB could be considered cute. We missed you last night. Hope to see you soon!!! Melissa

Yep, it takes a while for the swelling. I'm 5 mos post-op from my last TT and I still have swelling. It can take up to a year to go away.....

Just think about that 6 pack you're gonna have when all that swelling goes down, and a cute belly button on top of it...you go Girl!!! I can't wait to squeeze ya...I promise I'll be gentle Tonya
