Hope you're having a good day on this rainy afternoon.) I'll weigh "officially" at Dr. Bour's office during my appt on Friday, but as of today, I have lost FIFTY pounds since surgery, and have a total loss of 71 pounds!!! Dare I wish for MORE on Friday?

I haven't shared too much info about his illness at his request. He felt like it would place focus on him instead of me...I know right! For 25 yrs I've been blessed to be his wife, and I'm praying I'll be blessed for many more yrs

I did mention that he had started chemo in my profile. I had my surgery in Feb., and he started his treatments in April. It has been quite a whirlwind, but I'm not complaining...I'm just thankful to God that we both are still here, inlove, and in Christ!!

I too will be praying for you and your husband. Just be sure that you take some time out for yourself.

I know it's not easy, your one of those ladies that takes care of everyone else. That's the first thing I noticed when I came to this site. You are soooooooooooooooo supportive and kind to everyone.

I do try and make time for me...every once and a while I need to refuel. As a matter of fact I just got out of a hot, soothing bubble bath...sometimes just making time for that helps bunches. I'll be praying for you too Judy...Lord let Judy's surgery date be soon!!!

I guess your Doc thinks you've lost too much weight??!!?? Are you trying to lose, or is it just coming off? I think I might have to look into plastic surgery too!!! My thighs, and rearend are not springing back like I hoped. It's time to face the truth...I don't think my butt cheeks are suppose to have wrinkles...not yet any way
