Hi Everyone, :wave: ...

Hi Everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I had a 3 day headache! Dear WONDERFUL Phyllis went home on Saturday. ITHINK SHE IS DOING GREAT! But she thinks she is a WIMP Because she said all those other girls (you all) did so great after surgery, I let her know that she has done wonderful considering she had to have a second surgery while in the hospital! She says she is still weak, and is walking a little but not much yet. She goes back to see Dr. Ross tomorrow, (Wednesday). We were talking earlier today and both of us think that he won't remove her drain tomorrow since the fluid is still very red meaning blood) we think this is still coming from the second surgery, the fluid should be an orangish to clear by now, so we are thinking he may leave it in another week. Phyllis says she is fine with that if he does. She's doing pretty good with her protein, also eating jello and popcicles and LOVES her sippy cup! I told her I would call her tomorrow evening to see how her visit with Dr. Ross went. Y'all continue to pray for her please. Well, I'm headed to bed. I hope all of you have a blessed Wed. Hi Debra! Sorry you've had a headache that hung around WAY too long. I hope it's all gone now! Thank you for the Phyllis update. When you talk to her later, please remind her that not ALL of us "did great" after surgery! (I'm lookin' at ME!) She is not a wimp, she is stronger than the average lady for going through what she endured with the 2nd surgery! Now it's time for her to rest a lot and just allow her body to recover from all it's been through. Sounds like everything is going along as it should thouigh ... I do hope she feels better and better every day! You have a good Wednesday, too! Dawn
