New pics on my profile!

We had family photos made this weekend. The last time we had this done Teagan had just turned 1! That was over 3 years ago. Since then, I kept putting them off "just until I lose a little weight." So it was a major accomplishment for me to actually allow this to happen. They are WAY at the bottom of my profile. Kathy

Oh my! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new pictures! I did the same thing you did ... I put off having those family group pictures done, afraid to document "officially" how heavy I was. Only I put it off for 20 years. And now I have grown children who don't live at home anymore, and only 2 or 3 professional pictures of us as a family ... and those were taken when the kids were very small. I wish I could go back and do it differently. But I'm sooooo happy to know that you won't suffer the same regrets in that department! Your family is beautiful, and the pictures are TREASURES. Oh my gosh! You really think so? Jennifer said the same thing to me last night. It's amazing to me how we see ourselves vs. how others see us. Because that face to the left over there ... That's what I see when I look in the mirror! Maybe I should play around with getting some new pictures taken this week, just to see if I can see a difference. On another topic: Next week, at our get-together, PLEASE remind me to get out of my seat and spend time at both ends of the table. While I always enjoy talking to the friends who are sitting nearby, I always end up feeling sad that I missed time with "the other end". Last night, it was Rachel, Marcey, and you and Teagan that I missed! Hope you have a really good Tuesday, Kathy. I am going to get my hair cut this morning ... and best of all, FINALLY my gray is going away! (It's my first cut and color since before my surgery!) Dawn

Kathy, Your pics are great Where did you have them done? I love the one with Tegan and the flower. We are gonna have ours done to like you our last one was whem Willow was 6 months old so it is time for an upgrade. Hugs, Marcey

I got them done at Portraint Innovations on Woodruff in those new shops. They are ready within 30 minutes. The photographer was really good. They just keep snapping until they get a good picture. They are really good with the kids. You will probably get so many good ones of Willow you will go broke! Kathy

Kathy, your pictures are great. You really look great. I also love the one with the flower. She is just a doll. When I lose my weight, my husband, daughter and I are going to have a picture made in a skirt that I am wearing now. Believe me, it will stretch that big!!! Two weeks from today and I'll be on the losing side!!! See you soon, Donna
