Hi Everyone I just HAVE to BRAG on Phyllis! This lady is SUPERWOMAN! She has done nothing but great! She's walking, doing her breathing, eating! No problems at all! She amazes me at how well she is doing, sooo much better than I did with my stay in the hospital. YOU GO PHYLLIS! When I went by to see her yesterday evening (Tuesday) She had her family there and was just a talking away, You would never have known she just had major surgery. And while I was there, miss BEAUTIFUL Dawn came in, She is looking GOOOOOOODDD! She let Phyllis know that all of you said Hi and are praying for her. Don't you just love our WLS family People, because of this surgery, we will be FAMILY FOREVER! I love all of you, and thank God for each of you every single morning as I do my morning devotion and prayers. I miss you gals from Greenville group. I won't be able to come to the next Greenville group, but hopefully I'll be at the one after that. And I hope y'all can come to our Spartanburg group. Next meeting is on THURSDAY, AUGUST 17th. Mark your calendars! Well, I need to go and TRY and get some protein into this OLE body ... still having problems with this. :eyeroll: Again ....... I LOVE YOU ALL!!

Hi Debra! I was typing my post about Phyllis while you were posting yours! Hope you can come to see us in 2 weeks ... and I''ll mark my calendar for the 17th! Protein is still an issue for me too ... I bought some "Pure Protein" shakes (in cans) after Susanne told us she liked them. I found some at The Vitamin Shoppe, and Susanne gets hers at GNC. First thing this morning I drank the Banana Cream flavor (very cold), and I thought it was great. Well, it was alright. LOL I was able to drink the whole thing, anyway! I bought the other flavors to try, as well ... Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate. They have 35 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar in an 11 ounce can. I'm hoping that these will help me get more protein in and help the scale to MOVE again! Love you too, Debra ... see you soon! Dawn

Hi Susanne I got them for 2.39 a can at The Vitamin Shoppe on Woodruff. They also had cases of 12 of the same flavor for 25.11. Love ya! Dawn
