Any other lap banders in Charleston who might want to get together for information and support? I was banded 2 months ago by Dr. Anderson in Conway and I would love to meet with others. B

I will be banded on August 25th. You can tell not a lot of lap-banders come over to this board but I hope that changes soon. You may also want to post this to the lap-band forum just in case there are more of us Carolinians over there too!

Lap Band on 09/19/06

Hey there, I too am in the process of awaiting lap band with the conway group as a self pay. I live in Mt. Pleasant! WOuld love to hear more about your experience with them and how you have done to date. I have sent off my paperwork and have appt with psych and dietary this Tuesday! Told it would take about 6 weeks!

I am almost 2 years out but have a leak in my band so awaiting what is going to be done about it. I would LOVE to get together with others for support. I live in North Charleston and had my band placed by Dr. Bauman in Concord, NC. Cheryl
