Lap Banders from Coastal SC???

Looking to get Band in Conway SC (I live in Charleston/Mt. Pleasant).....looking to communicate with other "like" individuals for support!

I'm glad to see band people over here and not just stuck over in the lap-band forum! Why aren't you trying to get banded at MUSC? You know, Dr. Byrne is now banding patients. I'm scheduled for Aug. 25th and I can't wait. I don't know of any lap-band support groups in our area yet but you are more than welcome over in the lap-band forum and you can e-mail me with any questions. How far are you into your research? Have you already made the decision to be banded?

Hey there, I sent off my paperwork today.....am a self pay. Called MUSC but was a little nervous in that they had not done very many. Still unsure what to charge a self pay when I called and talked to them. I am from Conway and all of my family still lives there....since they have alot more experience, decided to do it there...and cheaper than MUSC (11,500 whi*****ludes fills). I am very excited for you and would love for you to keep me posted as to your experiece with your surgery. I work across the street from you at Roper/St. Francis....I am an NNP.
