9 Month Followup

I had my 9 month followup yesterday. I was so nervous because I felt like I hadn't lost enough weight. I even felt like I was going to disappoint Dr. Byrne. When he came in he said how great I look and he can't believe that I'm the same person. I told him that I wan't that same person anymore, inside or out. I then asked him about a goal weight (I've been afraid to ask him that). He said that his goal weight is losing 70% of your presurgery weight. Imagine my shock when he figured out that I'm 2 pounds away from that. I told him that I want to lose an additional 10 or 15 after that and he just smiled his great looking smile and his bright blue eyes were twinkling, and he said "Don't worry, you will" Moral of my story. We have to stop beating ourselves up. We are all doing great. I have to stop worrying about disappointing others and concentrate on pleasing myself. So I'm dancing all day here at work

You're sooooooo right SIS(sisters in surgery)...we do need to stop beating ourselves up!! Congratulations on being just 2 lbs from goal!!! WoooooHooooo!!!
