Helpful hint for summer....
Good morning everyone!
Gail, my insurance company's bariatric nurse, called to check on me last week. In the course of the coversation, she mentioned that we need more water in summer. I thought "Of course we do, but I can't possibly drink more water!" but she went on to explain that as we get dehydrated, our weight loss slows down because our bodies are hoarding water and all other fluids. AH HAH! I hadn't thought of that. I've increased my water drinking in the days since then, and the weight loss has started again.
So, if things have slowed down for y'all also, try increasing water on these sweltering days.
