Hey everyone...well, it seems like I am never going to get my insurance packet sent off. I had to have my PCP re-fax the records that they sent on the 19th. Since the insurance packet girl left Dr Bour's office everything is a mess. I asked via email today is she had a time line for my packet to be sent out and no response yet. Going on 3 weeks....I am getting upset. Should it really take this long?? Now they are training a new girl. UGH!!!!! Thanks for the vent session..... Pam

This is terrible. Something needs to be done about this soon. It is going to give Dr. Bour's office a terrible reputation. I understand that they are going through some really difficult times right now...but they are messing with people's lives here and need to pick up the slack!!! I'll try to find out the details of the drama when I go next week to see Dr. Bour. Rachel

If you live close by it sometimes helps to drop in and speak to someone in person. i know this is a pain but when you go in and raise cain it sometimes gets results. Also ask them to give you copies of everything in your records and see if you can fax the documents in yourself.

oh pam...... tell them you are looking for another doctor. that might get them moving!!

I agree with Sherry. Tell them to get their act together or you are heading over to Spartanburg to Dr. Ross. You've got all the pre-op requirements done. Sometimes blowing a little smoke helps get the fire going. Rachel

Hey Pam! I am so sorry to hear about all the mess. Hopefully, they will get the ball rolling real soon and you will be posting your approval.. I know how hard the waiting is. It took them a couple weeks to get mystuff sent off too, but once the insurance got it things flew by. Melissa

Who left at Dr. Bours office?? KIM?? I had to light a fire myself but it eventually happened. I got all my own drs reccords and brought everything to her so they did not have to get all of that. I also got the name and fax number of the person at the ins company that would handle the claim so everything could be faxed and not mailed and had a name to go with it.. Good luck, Patto
