Ice Shaver...

Ok ladies that have been through surgery... I have been thinking about purchasing a ice shaving machine...you know like a snow cone machine?? They sale them at walmart and I think they are clearance now. I thought this might be beneficial for after surgery to give my liquid phase a little spark!! Also, I hear the crunch factor is really important!!! I thought I might could make little 2 oz snow cones with crystal light and some type of protein mix. Just wanted to see if you think it would be worth the money!!! Thanks Rachel

the ONE thing that made me feel an ounce "normal" was whan i was 5 days out and stopped at the shaved ice stand and got just a small cup of the ice (she gave it to ne for free!) and i poured some kiwi strawberry crystal light on it like they do.. omg it was HEAVEN!!!! so i would say yes yes and yes! i wish i had had one then.. I say YES too!!! I say buy 2 incase 1 breaks, never hurts to have a backup plan

Definitely worth it. Torani and DaVinci sugar free syrups are what I use. If you have a "world market" store near you they have tons of flavors, or you can order online from tons of sites. Helps fill the sweet and crunchy craves way past just the liquid phase. M
