B-1 level follow-up

I wanted to let you all now my PCP called me back today and told me she talked to an Internist that did more research on my low Thiamine level, He said that I have to have 100 mg injections of B-1 for the next 7 days and then 50 mg pills every 3 days. I've never heard about this either. I've taken B1 supplements all along. I'm so glad they've found your problem before it went any farther. This is really scary and something MUSC should be aware of. Love, B
