Hey Ya'll from California!!

Hey Everybody! We are still here in the hotel, and bored...bored...bored. We can't move into the house until 1 August, just waiting it out! I am going to get my hair cut on Wednesday and maybe that will help fill some time Tommy is working everyday, so we stay in the hotel and have gone to Disney and today we went to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. We saw them setting up for the Premiere of Ant Bully, and we were about 20 minutes too early to see any stars...oh well. I want to go to school again, but thought I would try to go back to nursing school, but not sure yet. They do have some acting classes at the local playhouse here, and that might be fun to do. They have actors who come and do the classes, so who knows...it will give me something to do, even if I do some local playhouse stuff So, I am submitting my paperwork this week for my plastic surgery approval...I am down to 165lbs, only 5 more pounds to go for Dr. Byrne's goal, and about 10-15 for my personal goal....its getting harder to lose now, but hopefully I can get off a few more to keep me under goal Miss you all soooo much, its not fun out here yet, hoepfully when we get into the house and get settled, and I can get into a routine, and get involved in church and maybe the classes. Deb, I am soooo jealous!! I love CA and I know the Lord will help you find friends once you move in to your house. Just think of the BBQ's you can have....grilled shrimp yum and 1 protein per shrimp! I can barely get 2-3 in but hey they are tasty protein. I love Disneyland! Not as far to walk and so much to see around there. Not sure if you are familiar with Calvary Chapel's but check them out. Lot in CA. Hope you get those final pounds off and get approval for surgery. You have done so well and have been an inspiration to a lot of us here. In Christ, Joan M

I'm a little green with envy at you being in California. Would love to move back and be around my two brothers. Hang in there. It is a great place and lots to do. Some of the folks are friendly.... though in my opinion, not as friendly as SC folks. Just different.

Hi I'm glad to hear you had a safe trip. I just got home from San Francisco at midnight last night. It wasfun and so beautiful, but I'm glad to be home. I'll e-mail you tomorrow. I'm sorry you're not having any fun. Too bad we weren't in LA instead. Love, B

Well Hey You!!! Sorry you're not having fun yet, but once you get settled you'll start to enjoy the adventure. It's always a little unnerving until you get in your own house with your own stuff. Lets here it for 165, WoooooHooooo!!! Don't you worry Darlin', if anyone can make thier goal YOU CAN!!! I believe in ya girlfriend...you'll do it!!!
