It sounds nothing like boring!!! THANK YOU for writing all this out - I really like the fact that it is not so different from Florida, so there won't be that big of a cultureshock. What I do like is the history of SC, I have been doing some reading on it and it really is quite interesting. About the damn yankees - people don't anyone problems about this do they? I am from NJ and hubby is from NY. We both still kind of have accents even though neither of us have lived up there since 97. Just curious... thx. Laura

now see she is dead on with the clemson/usc thing. my area is dihard clemson. (we are from the north, you know north carolina so my hubby is a north carolina fan and i am duke and nc state. but it gets ugly at gametime. so much fun. tailgates are awesome. i think i nominate tink to be the south carolina spokesperson. but don't forget greenville. this city is AWESOME. simpsonville is kind of a suburb.

You are kidding me!!! I graduated from Page (1975)....but my ex graduated from Smith...class of 1980. When we bought a house that was in the Smith school district (Hillsdale park)....but sadly the neighborhoods there have really gone downhill. Even if I hadn't moved to SC, I would have had to move from that area. Small world, huh?? Hugs, Dianne

yes, that area has really gone downhill but when we were there it was so nice. my oldest brother graduated from smith 78, mike followed in 80, and chris in 82. i graduated a year early in 87. i actually have my brother's annuals. what is your ex's name?? my brothers were pretty popular (well the 2 oldest anyway, chris is a physicist, a bit of a geek) so i bet they at least knew of each other.

My ex is Darrell Stone. He played football.....was a bit of a redneck, but dated a pretty popular girl in his junior and senior year (they broke up before the prom) named Terry Barnes. It sounds like he might know your brothers. What is your maiden name and I'll ask him (I've talked to him 3 or 4 times this week already....he is remarried, but we actually have a pretty civil divorced relationship!!). But then, in 1979 and 1980 I worked at Roy Rogers (which was a big hangout for the Smith gang...and where I met my ex)....so I might know who your brothers are too!!
