About 6 small meals throughout the day!! I KNOW that I have been singing this tune all week, but I have to share!! My metabolism has gone through a much needed change and with one week under my belt of eating "differently" I have lost a total of 10.8 lbs. No mystery foods- I just measure EVERYTHING that I eat and I drink at least 64 oz of water daily. Besides Gastric Bypass surgery, this is the BEST thing that I have come across... This helped me past my stall!!! Best Wishes to all, Towana

Don't be discouraged!! i was stalled for a little more than a month- actually yo-yoing between the same 5 pounds. I always measure all of my food- meats, veggies everything!! I try not to eat past 7 pm 8 is the absolute latest. I try to drink at least 64 oz of water daily- sometimes I make more, sometimes less.... Most importantly I log EVERYTHING that I eat!!! This keeps me accountable and helps me see how things break down. This was one of the days last week... 7am 2 boiled eggs 10 am- 2.5 cucumbers 1 oz tomatoes 12 noon- 1/2 chicken breast on salad greens 1pm 20 oz crystal lite 3pm- 1/2 chicken breast on salad greens ( I split a salad into 2 parts from lunch) 4 pm- 16 oz drink 6 pm- 1 oz chicken 9pm- 2 oz cucumbers, 2 oz tomatoes 10p 26 oz. water THis was a late eating night. Weight that morning was 197.8, next morning was 196.8- 1 pound lost. I would have lost more- I averaged 2 lbs. per day, however that's only when I don't eat after 7 pm and just drink!!!

Hi Towana!! Thanks SO much for the diary log. I also lose more when I eat more protein, and more often, keeping my metabolism revved up. I don't have my scale with me in CA yet, but I will go buy a new one tomorrow. I am almost afraid to weigh, but I think I have lost or at least maintained. I eat similar to you, but this is usually how my day breaks down...but I need to eat more often. Breakfast....Protein shake (Carb countdown slim n lite yogurt) with 15 gms of protein added Sometimes a snack of a handful of almonds or nuts Lunch....Wendy's salad with chili on top, no sour cream, no crunchy chips strips Dinner....Chicken breast or thin lean roast beef and some veggies if needed Snack, sometimes nuts or 1/2 protein bar or yogurt drink again Crystal lite and propel throughout the day, but need to up it!! I also eat a lot of salads and I try to eat about a handful of grapes and or mixed fruit each day which will keep me regular Miss you guys!!!!!!!!! Deb SC Girl forever!!
