Wow moment!

I just got back from lunch with a friend and we decided to go to my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant. Before, the owner and I joked that he was going to go out of business because I was having surgery. When we got there, I felt like I wasn't greeted as warmly as I usually am. I thought it was just because I hadn't been there in a while or maybe that since I was sharing a plate with my friend, the waitress thought she was going to be stiffed on her tip. But, while I was eating the owner came up to me and told me that the waitress didn't recognize me. He had made the comment to her "doesn't Kathy look good?" and she didn't even know it was me!!! Only 3 1/2 months out and people don't recognize me!How cool! Plus he told me he could make me a no sugar added margarita using splenda (they use fresh squeezed lime juice only) when I was ready. Woo hoo!! Maybe after 6 months or goal.
